you've noticed of cource how different vocal of Steffen (sorry if there'll be mistakes) can be. It becomes more gruffy and hoarce with time. It sounds even agressive a bit sometimes.
As if would be a voice of dissapointed and tired person.
I get used to hear the sweatest tenderness of his voice, it became a specifical "trademark". Relaxing voice.
I want to ask everybody:
is it just a new style of the Band or may be real events in his life, other?
how do you like these changes, did you find a special bonus in new hoarse sounds?

|stern_radio||03:28 pm - Hello, addicted and strangaffected.|
Thank you for creating this community where we're able to share our love to de/vision.
I'm from Russia, but it doesn't reduce my admires about this Band. I still cannot understand strange fenomen of my devisionmania.
First time when I saw them - was about 1998. I just got a fragment of clip "Strange affection", I was 18.
This song impressed me deeply, but I didn't try get more until my 23 (when I got a normal internet).
I decided to check if that strange song would touch me again. And then I decided to check if other songs will touch me. And later I've downloaded whatever I could.
Now I'm 25, and I still buy every new album.
Is it a disease?
Guys have you everybody got over this?

The Summer Nights Newsletter
You had to wait for some news a little longer this time. But if there's nothing to say, you don't say anything. Meanwhile happened quite a lot and we want to let you know, that DE/VISION will be back in 2006.
New album - "Subkutan"
Now it's fixed, DE/VISIONs new album will be called "Subkutan" and will be released on January 16, 2006. The songwriting itself is nearly finished, but the production of the nw songs will continue until September 2005. Regarding the sound and style of the new album, Steffen and Thomas don't want to betray anything at the moment, but they said that there will be the one or another suprise. Whether a possible single will be released, will be decided after they have finished the production in September. Ulrike Rank will be responsible for the CD artwork again and who will be the band photographer this time is also nearly fixed.
The scheduling for the forthcoming tour is even in progress and you should keep in mind that it ill take place from April 07 till April 17, 2006. The mentioned period is is scheduled for german dates only. Where, when and how DE/VISION will play in other countries is not yet sorted out.
DJ - Dates
Right after the band has finished the production Steffen will do a DJ-Set in the Dark Flower, Leipzig again. Eventually he will introduce some of the new songs then!?!? It definitely will be worth to attend the party. September 17, 2005 Dark Flower, Leipzig
Attention! The Dark Flower will move by the end of August to a new location in Leipzig. The new address: Dark Flower, Hainstrasse 12-14, 04109 Leipzig
We wish you all a fantastic summer! Greetings as usual from Steffen, Thomas and the whole DE/VISION - Info Team!

Ahhhhh, at my birthday party I'm going to blast all the De/Vision CDs I have all night long!!!!
By the way, why haven't more people joined this LJ, are they insane?
Or maybe I'm in denial about billions of people being in love with their music as much as I am.
Current Mood: happy
Current Music: I love the six feet under album!

I love it when I listen to a song that I never really fully "got into" before, and then all of the sudden fall in love with it. That happened last week while I was listening to Anywhere. As I was sitting here listening to it just now, getting all those techno head movements going, I thought, "why not share this with the fine folks in the De/Vision fan community?" Aren't you all just so enlightened now?
Current Music: Duh...
